Level 1 Freight Auditor

  • Pay Rate $15/hr ($31k/yr)
  • Full-Time – 8 hour shift
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • Hybrid work option available, 3 days in office, 2 days work from home per week

 
Position Summary 
The Level 1 Freight Auditor is responsible for auditing and processing logistics invoices across all modes of transportation, including Imports, Truckload, Intermodal, LTL and Parcel (including others). The Freight Data & Audit Coordinator will research and resolve invoices that are not in compliance with the contractual pricing and service agreements. Hybrid work schedule: home and office. The job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in imports, logistics, transportation or other like experience is a plus
  • Functional knowledge of global supply chain concepts a plus
  • Prior experience with freight audit, tariffs & pricing agreements preferred
  • Strong data and financial analytics, data management and skills in supply chain and billing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Transportation terms (BOL, Consignee, Consignor, etc.) preferred
  • Strong analytical, computer skills, critical thinking and problem solving are mandatory
  • Ability to read the NMFC Guide and apply correct freight class to all commodities
  • Basic-to-Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Intermediate Outlook/Word mandatory

Job Duties

  • Provide strong data and financial analysis & data management in the supply chain environment
  • Provide feedback to Team Leaders related to inaccurate, misclassified content & billing adjustments
  • Learn, implement and service Client Business Rules
  • Create and maintain complicated spreadsheets
  • Provide strong data and financial analysis & data management in the supply chain environment
  • Works closely with the Freight Payment leadership teams to reduce unnecessary rework
  • Ensure freight audits are timely and accurate utilizing ability to interpret tariffs and/or pricing agreements including contracts for all modes of transportation
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Create spreadsheets to upload rates in the system
  • Works closely with the Freight Payment leadership teams to reduce unnecessary rework

Freight Research Coordinator

  • Pay Rate $13/hr ($27k/yr)
  • Full-Time – 8 hour shift
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • 100% Onsite required position, no WR available at this time

  
Position Summary 
The Freight Research Coordinator is responsible for proofreading, data entry, carrier rates, proofreading of freight documents, and data analytics consistent with company performance values. The Freight Research Coordinator will be asked to meet assigned daily processing quotas and the job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in imports, logistics, transportation or other like experience is a plus
  • Functional knowledge of global supply chain concepts a plus
  • Prior experience with freight data entry, research and knowledge of Transportation rates preferred
  • Strong data and financial analytics, data management and skills in supply chain and billing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Transportation terms (BOL, Consignee, Consignor, etc.) preferred
  • Strong analytical, computer skills, critical thinking and problem solving are mandatory
  • Knowledge of ocean and air imports a plus. Ability to process International BOLs a plus
  • Basic-to-Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Intermediate Outlook/Word mandatory

Job Duties

  • Provide accurate freight research and coordinate freight pay process with the Research Team
  • Provide feedback to Team Leaders related to account specific freight-handling issues
  • Open Mail/Prepping Mail
  • Learn, implement and service Client Business Rules
  • Works closely with service providers and freight shippers
  • Escalate payment issues with the supporting documents to the Freight Payment leadership teams
  • Teleform (Quality Control)
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
