CT Logistics is a proud supporter of Hunger Network
Since 1923, doing the right thing has been at the core of our values, principles and purpose. This includes giving back to the communities in which we live, work and serve.
Social responsibility is endorsed and ingrained at the highest level in our company.
Throughout the year we enjoy promoting and donating to Hunger Network and support their ANNUAL RUN/WALK FOR HUNGER each May.
Hunger Network is the largest grassroots hunger relief and food recovery organization in Cuyahoga County. Organized in 1973 and incorporated in 1995, the organization fights food inequity and injustice through a collaborative consortium of hunger relief sites, food donors, and nonprofit partners that nourish neighbors in need. With dignity and compassion at the forefront, Hunger Network’s 68 strategically located hunger relief sites served 223,409 households in 2025, providing an average of 651,000 nutritious meals each month.
Demonstrating the same focus on efficiency, coordination, and smart logistics that defines CT Logistics’ work, Hunger Network’s environmentally conscious Food Rescue Program uses innovative app-based technology to recover fresh food that would otherwise be sent to landfills and deliver it to nearby community distribution locations in under an hour. Founded in 2018, the program recovered more than 1.5 million pounds of food last year—equating to 1.25 million meals and sustaining approximately 1,140 people with three meals a day, every day, all year.
Through its continued support, CT Logistics helps ensure this essential infrastructure remains strong and responsive. By investing in Hunger Network’s proven, logistics driven approach to hunger relief, CT Logistics enables immediate, measurable impact on the health and nutrition of children, adults, and older adults across our community facing food and economic insecurity.
The support CT Logistics' gives, enables The Hunger Network to have a continued and immediate impact on the health and nutrition of our area’s most vulnerable low-income children, adults and elderly.
